Yep 😊 it was busy there this evening. A little queue, but nothing hectic. Very busy vibe but nice. I think Chris handled everything very well, well done man 👏 the food was great and service was fast. Lovely subtle music in the background. Known for their famous Spur Waffle 🧇 yep 👍😔

We went to Muizenberg Spur, this past fathers day for supper. We waited quite a while after being seated, after "our" waiter said he will be with us in 3 minutes. I am generally very patient at a restaurant, however I became impatient. Lucky a staff member, named Siya, Not sure if he was a regular waiter as he didn't have the regular waiter attire on. He was passing by our table and stopped to asked us if we were assisted yet, I said no we weren't. "Our" waiter was taking extremely long to get to us. He went to check on our waiter and our waiter then came to take our order. We asked our waiter, if we could atleast get our drinks as soon as possible while we wait for our food. However waited very long for this too. I actually started to feel like we not valued as customers. Then this Siya guy got involved again and flipped that completely around. The rest of our our experienced turned out to be the best. Siya went completely out of his way for us and made each one of us feel relevant and like we were the most important customers there. Siya did all of this in such a humble manner not taking over our actual waiters duty but making us feel good as well as assisting our actual waiter. I told Siya that I will come back to this Spur, if for nothing else, just because of him. We have never experienced such great, friendly, humble experience like we received there because of Siya. Its clear that he is just generally, personally, a great person. You guys have a Superstar in your employ and I'm sure you must know this already! Thank you Siya for making our Father's day celebration so special. 💙
